Some events available for ages 40-49. Refer to specific event for age requirements.

Enclosed are information and an entry form for the Quad Cities Senior Olympics. Please complete the form, signthe liability waiver, and mail to the address above. Enclose check or money order for entry fee, which includes t-shirt, medals, complimentary closing meal, refreshments, and more.

Special items of interest to you:

  • Opening ceremonies on Friday, June 24th at 5:00 PM
  • Closing ceremonies (with complimentary meal) on Saturday, June 25th at 4:00 PM
  • Events will be held at Augustana College unless otherwise noted.

Back by popular demand!!! Come, watch, and cheer for the 2nd Annual QC Senior Olympics Celebrity Challenge!Quad City area leaders and celebrities will compete in this five event 'Olympics' for bragging rights as the 2011 Celebrity Champion. The Celebrity Challenge will take place immediately following our Opening Ceremonies, and will start at the Opening Ceremony site. All Senior Olympics participants present get to vote for their favorite entry in the Celebrity ChallengeArts competition! Watch the celebrities compete in throwing, sketching, trivia, running and at least one surprise event!Doyou have a celebrity in mind who you would like to see compete in the Celebrity Challenge? Email their name and contact information by June 1st to: qcseniorolympics@yahoo.com

The Archery Event will be held at 8:00 AM on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Eldridge City Park, located at the north side of Eldridge along County Road Y64 which is also N 1st Street in Eldridge.

Entry forms and submissions for the Literary Arts must be received in the QCSO office by 4:00 PM on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Entry rules apply. Call office or visit website for rules. This includes hard copy and email submissions. Categories are Fiction, Non-Fiction, Poetry - Rhyming, and Poetry - Non-Rhyming.

Entry forms and submissions for Arts & Crafts must be delivered to Center for Active Seniors, Inc (CASI), 1035 W. Kimberly Road, Davenport, IA, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Friday, June 10, 2011, between the hours of 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, in the volunteer room. Pick up entries on Friday, July 8, 2011, at CASI, 1035 W Kimberly Rd, Davenport IA, between the hours of 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, in the volunteer room.
